Luxury Mobile Dog Grooming in Southern New Hampshire

Originally from the Highlands, Scotland. I have always been an animal lover from a young age, you know the kid bringing sick or injured animals home to nurse back to health much to my parents chagrin! That love of animals led me towards Horses specifically after a particularly memorable pony ride at a fair. As soon as I was old enough, I was helping out at my local stables in exchange for riding lessons. Of course I caught the bug completely, so it was off to college to study Equine & Business Management. After passing with Merit and being told I was good enough to go all the way, I found myself perusing a career as a professional rider. After my dreams never came to fruition due to a lack of sponsorships and subsequently money. I went into freelance coaching and riding instruction instead. Believe me when I tell you, nothing gives you more patience than working with children and ponies at the same time! I was very fortunate to have taught and worked at many amazing facilities in Europe and then Sydney Australia, which is where my grooming career began.

I started out as a basic apprentice and bather but my collogue/tutor quickly discovered that I had a natural affinity and patience with the dogs, as well a flare for styling and clipper work. After meeting my now husband, I moved to gorgeous New Hampshire and found myself with free time while waiting on my green card, so I decided to complete Professional Intermediate Stylist Diploma at a fantastic Grooming Academy in Portsmouth. After gaining experience working in a few different salons and watching other groomers work, I thought it was high time I started my own business and so here we have Luxe Pups!
